I have my Custom Shop Texas Specials already and will be swapping soon, I do love the way they sound in all the comparisons I've seen including yours.. I do love the look of the guitar and for the price guess can't expect perfection, frets need a little work, action came a bit on the high side. but nothing a good setup can't fix, but I fee the need for the pickp change the wilkinson's scream "cheap guitar" to me , just not quite there.tuners are not the best for so far seem to keep tune well enough. Good job with your swap and thanks for sharing.

I have the Jake Pitts E-1 which has EMG active pickups, and I also have the E-1 that has the Sustainiac. Great guitars, but both have the Floyd Rose 1500 trem. I have had my eye on this one since it is a hardtail and does not have active pickups. AND it is beautiful! Great review! Gotta get one now! : )
